French: Media and Celebrities module

Some sample activities from our Media and Celebrities module. Other activities include learning to write a profile of a musician, including past, present, future and conditional tenses as well describing TV viewing habits and favourite TV programmes.  There is a focus on giving opinions and stating personal preferences with reasons.  There are several activities to help to build extended sentences, analyse best practice and sample answers which cover A grade and C grade type answers and how these relate to the mark schemes (the four main exam boards’ schemes are covered: AQA, OCR, Edexcel and WJEC).  A series of activities also helps to develop pupils’ memorisation skills at word, sentence and text level.

Spanish: My Life module

Some sample activities from our My Life module. Pupils look at the daily life of people from very different countries and use this to be able to describe their own life and make comparisons.  Other activities include describing one’s self, school, family life, hobbies, future plans and items that are important to them, including past, present, future and conditional tenses.  There is a focus on giving opinions and stating personal preferences with reasons.  There are several activities to help to build extended sentences, analyse best practice and sample answers which cover A grade and C grade type answers and how these relate to the mark schemes (the four main exam boards’ schemes are covered: AQA, OCR, Edexcel and WJEC).  A series of activities also helps to develop pupils’ memorisation skills at word, sentence and text level.
