Frühstuck rund um die Welt
Use the www.nutella.de website to find out about breakfast in different countries in Europe and healthy food for a professional footballer.
Click on ‘Aufstehn! Dein Nutalla Magazin’ and then Frühstuck rund um die Welt.
Go through the five pages which describe simply in German with nice sound effects, which foods are eaten in Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria and Holland. The key words are highlighted and the meanings of these can be discussed.
You are then taken automatically to the next section ‘der richtige Kick’. Here a list of foods that football players should eat in the lead up to a match are described including the ‘Nudelparty’ that should take place the night before!
On each page key words are highlighted, which pupils can work out. There is also a strapline summary of each page which pupils can work out though knowledge of cognates, such as:
Kartoffeln machen fit!
Finally there are a few pages of Fuβballwissen (football facts)
